Michael Hyman

Michael Hyman is an award winning composer, orchestrator and musical director, specialising in music for film and television, live concerts and orchestration. Recent film and television projects include Finding your Feet (dir. Richard Loncraine), Sarkar (music A R Rahman), Hamid (Netflix), Dani’s House (Season 5 BBC), Phonics School (BBC worldwide), Portrait of an Engineer (IET) and he was the session conductor on Young Dracula (Season 5, BBC Cymru). In the concert arena Michael has had commissions, premieres and conducted in venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena, London Coliseum and De Montfort Hall, Leicester. He has also conducted TV score sessions with London’s best musicians.

In 2020 Michael became a Musical Director of Grand Philharmonic Orchestra who specialise in working with artists and composers from the Indian film industry, as well as providing film scores and arrangements. He also regularly works with Bohemia Junction. Through these channels he provides live and film orchestral compositions, arrangements and conducting, working with the most celebrated composers, musicians and singers in Indian cinema.
